The Mission of BEDFORD RIDE is to improve the quality of life for Bedford County citizens by providing better access to non-emergency medical services (non-Medicaid).
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing non-emergency medical transportation.
Donations are always appreciated. Our wish list consists of a mechanically sound vehicle to aide in transports, gas cards or gift cards for office supplies.
Volunteers provide disabled, elderly, and low income people in our communities with easy and affordable transportation.
Drivers are carefully screened and thoroughly trained persons who are caring, compassionate, and considerate. They drive safely, protect passenger confidentiality and treat everyone with respect.
